Rooftop HVAC equipment at Coast Community College

Value Delivered

We provided HVAC and mechanical solutions for a new, three-story student center. When the new building failed to pass Title 24 testing during commissioning, we worked closely with the owner, construction manager, and design team to identify the flaws in the design and make adjustments to correct them.

Client Objectives

Coast Community College needed complete HVAC systems for a new 119,000-square-foot, three-story college center building. Additionally, they needed retrofit HVAC solutions for a 40,600-square-foot, two-story student life building.

Solutions

The project included the demolition of the existing student center and renovation of the existing administration building. Our HVAC solutions included:

  • Building image modeling and design-build services
  • HVAC replacement in retrofit building
  • Fire alarm upgrades
  • Central plant design and construction
  • Installation of boilers, air handling units, chillers, variable air volume units, and pumps
