Value Delivered

We provided mechanical and plumbing installation services to the General Services Administration (GSA) during the construction of a new federal courthouse, as well as renovation solutions in the lobby of an existing courthouse. 

Thanks to our diligent work and the efforts of our fellow contractors, the completed new facility achieved LEED Silver certification. 

Client Objectives

The GSA was looking for a mechanical contractor with experience working in the public sector who also had the specialty expertise needed to help this project meet stringent LEED criteria.

Solutions

We installed all mechanical and plumbing systems across the new 456,000-square-foot, 17-story courthouse. 

Specifically, we installed:

  • 19 air handlers producing 337,000 cubic feet per minute
  • Three cooling towers
  • Three chillers totaling 1,560 tons of cooling capacity
  • Four boilers totaling 8,000 BTUs per hour

Additionally, our team led the BIM process.
