ENTERTAINMENT FACILITY BACKGROUND
Santaluz is a collaboration of DMB Associates, Inc. and Taylor Woodrow Homes, Inc. It is a model of innovative design with special care taken to protect the 3,800-acre community’s natural character and enhance the “Early California” setting. Named “Best Master-Planned Community in Southern California” by the Building Industry Association, Santaluz also received the Gold Nugget Award for “Best Land Plan” at the Pacific Coast Conference.
The centerpiece of this community is its 18-hole championship golf course designed by Rees Jones. The course’s up-scale clubhouse will be housed in two buildings totaling nearly 40,000 square feet. One of the two-story buildings will feature a grill and bar, dining areas, and kitchen facilities, as well as a 6,142-square-foot underground cart barn. The other building will have men’s and women’s spa areas and massage therapy rooms.
